C‌ommunication Arts & Sciences:  Outstanding Students, Faculty and Staff!

Four CAS Women Nominated for This Year's Outstanding Women's Awards - Dr. Karen Krupar Awarded Outstanding Faculty Award

This year, four of our CAS women were nominated for the annual Outstanding Women's Award:

Dr. Karen Krupar and Dr. Jessica Rossi-Katz - Faculty

Jacqueline Kirby - Classified Staff

Savannah Sanburg - Student

Our department is filled with outstanding women and it was a great pleasure to recognize and celebrate our nominees at the event on April 25th.  Congratulations to Dr. Karen Krupar for being awarded this year's Outstanding Woman Award for faculty.  As her nominee said about her, "Dr. Krupar has been the parent, counselor, support, instructor, and example I didn't even know I needed.  She provided academic guidance tailored to my independent situations time and time again.  She took time from her overloaded schedule to walk me through processes and ideas, as well as pushed me to do my best when needed.  I NEVER felt like just another student, I felt like Dr. Krupar's student."
