Program Introduction
The Metropolitan State University of Denver is an educational institution that welcomes and supports a diverse student body. The institution is committed to providing students with disabilities the academic accommodations and auxiliary aids necessary to ensure equal access to all of the college's programs, activities, and services. In addition to the college’s campus wide efforts to promote access and inclusion, students with disabilities are further accommodated based on specific individual needs. The Access Center is the designated office that maintains disability-related documents, determines eligibility for academic accommodations, determines reasonable accommodations and develops plans for the provision of such accommodations for students attending MSU Denver. Our staff encourages students with disabilities to visit our office and meet with one of our Disability Coordinators to determine reasonable and appropriate accommodations. We know that it may be personally difficult for students to disclose their disability and ask for help, but friendly and professional staff will ensure the confidentiality of all your disability related information. Our goal is to help minimize the impact of your disability on your learning by providing reasonable accommodations to help you reach your academic potential.
